New legs, that's what I want for Christmas :-) - ok so the concept of training on tired legs just hit home. First off I forgot how much traffic there was during the week, cross roads where I never stop all of sudden there's traffic so I had a lot of stop and starts; that normally wouldn't be bad but my legs were as rubber as they have ever been, the only thing I could do was search for a pace that felt good (hell with HR) and lean forward and run. The magic pace was right around 8:30 and that also put me just about 80% of Z1 - not all bad considering 30 sec either direction they would collapsed. It was all and all a very good run.
