Last race prior to 70.3 Rhode Island (July 12) and the weather couldn't be more challenging, sunny hot and humid and the goofs don't have the scene to start the race at like 6:30 or 7 no they have to have a 8:00 start when the sun is starting to climb. The race is Marineland Tri and is the International distance which is 1.5k (.9 mile) Swim, 40k (26 miles) Bike, 10k (6.2 miles) Run, the swim is in the ocean bike up and down A1A and same with the run.

Today and really the week has been a sort of taper to the race. Saturday I ride for an hour and run an east 20 min and then off to the races. The coach predicts a 2:23-2:27 outcome which will be a PR since my best time for Int. is 2:41:03 so kind if excited to see how it goes - stay tuned.....
